Onshore laboratory

Geoquip Marine’s UKAS-accredited onshore geotechnical laboratory in Bristol provides high-quality, reliable testing to support offshore energy and infrastructure projects. Since 2021, significant investment has been made in state-of-the-art equipment, facilities and specialist personnel, enabling accurate, repeatable results delivered to internationally recognised standards. Our onshore laboratory plays a critical role in supporting offshore operations, providing advanced soil and rock testing, detailed analysis and rapid turnaround of results to inform engineering decisions and reduce project risk.

Offshore laboratories

Geoquip Marine also operates fully equipped offshore laboratories aboard its geotechnical investigation vessels, enabling rapid sample processing and testing directly during offshore campaigns.

Onboard laboratory capability allows geotechnical engineers to review results in near real time, supporting operational decisions and optimising investigation programmes while offshore. This integrated approach improves efficiency, enhances data quality and reduces project timelines.
