Geoquip Marine completed a geotechnical investigation programme to support the development of an offshore wind farm in Northern Europe.

The investigation was designed to provide reliable information on seabed and subsurface conditions at planned turbine locations, enabling engineers to develop robust ground models and foundation design parameters.

Offshore operations were carried out using a DP2 geotechnical drilling vessel equipped with specialist drilling, sampling and in-situ testing systems.

The investigation programme included offshore drilling, soil sampling and in-situ geotechnical testing supported by onboard laboratory testing and quality control.

The resulting datasets provided valuable geotechnical insight into soil stratigraphy and engineering properties across the development area, supporting safe and efficient project development.
