Geoquip Marine, in partnership with DenAr Ocean Engineering Services SA, has completed a preliminary geotechnical site investigation for the Sakarya Gas Field in the Black Sea on behalf of TP-OTC.
The programme was delivered in a technically demanding environment, with deep-water operations and seabed inclinations exceeding 30 degrees requiring precise engineering and careful planning.
To support execution, Geoquip Marine’s Engineering and Design Department developed a bespoke levelling frame, enabling stable operations across variable seabed conditions.
Despite challenging conditions and tight timelines, the project was completed safely and efficiently.
