Geoquip Marine has successfully completed the final work package of a five part offshore campaign in Nigeria for Shell. The project was completed with zero LTI.
With the Normand Baltic fitted with the GMR302, Geoquip Marine performed excellently during difficult weather conditions to complete an offshore geotechnical site investigation for the renewable energy sector in Taiwan.
Geoquip Saentis with the GMR600 completed her first assignment drilling over 2000m, acquiring more than 1400 high quality samples and over 900m of seismic PCPT data.
Following the successful execution of numerous offshore wind projects in Taiwan in 2018, Geoquip Marine will begin yet another campaign in the region with its heave compensated geotechnical drill rig, the GMR302, on the Normand Baltic.
